Betreiben Sie Ihr Notebook zu Hause auch gerne mit Maus, Tastatur, Drucker, LAN-Anschluss, zweitem Monitor, Lautsprechern und diversen USB-Geräten? Da ist es lästig jedes Mal alles auf’s neue anschließen zu müssen, nachdem man den Laptop mit auf Tour genommen hat. Dieser universelle Portreplikator schafft Abhilfe. Nach der Installation muss man zukünftig nur noch das USB-Kabel in das Notebook stecken und erspart sich somit das nervige Verbinden aller externen Ein- und Ausgabegeräte. Ein zusätzlicher Monitor kann entweder über den DVI- oder über den VGA-Eingang angeschlossen werden.
Der Port-Replikator ist für Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 und Mac OS X2 geeignet. Das passende Stecker Netzteil mit Euro-Stecker, das USB-Kabel sowie die Treiber CD und Handbuch ist natürlich im Lieferumfang enthalten.Die Installation ist Kinderleicht und wird im unten stehenden Video gezeigt.

Review by Rainman69 for Rating: Father’s Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop died, This Western Digital (WD) drive used to realcpe an *80GB Hitachi TravelStar 5400RPM drive that faithfully served for over 5 years, then died. *(upgraded back in 2004 from the original P.O.S. 40G 4200RPM Dell drive)I usually don’t bother with WD drives as their quality has dropped dramatically over the years. I needed a good, low cost drive that was Amazon Prime for next day delivery. It survived the delivery (was ice cold from UPS) Brrr! Let drive acclimate to ambient indoor temp.Swapped drives and formatted NTFS, no issues so far, loaded Win XP Pro, etc.. Long story short, the drive survived the cold, swapping, formatting, and running all night reloading 10 years of Win XP updates. So, So far so good. No issues since Dec 29th ’09Time will tell. I rate its performance so far as 5 stars, 2 stars for WD’s reputation, so an average of 3!
